She is still waiting for her Mr. Right.
She feels that one day a king will come on a horse to rescue him from all the embarrassment she face while sitting in front of those families who visit her house almost every week for marriage but ultimately rejects her. She feels that one day the right man will make the things perfect by bringing in happiness. The age, caste, creed, colour and looks does not matter any more, what she want is a man who will hold her hand and say that everything is alright, the one who will take her to a different world where she will forget her past, the one who will make her smile, the one who is not afraid to hold her hand in front of others to proudly announce that this lady belongs to him and he loves her.
She is still waiting for her Mr. Right
Anjali, Anjali, again day dreaming, wake up, bring on the tea, the family who has come to see you is waiting.
That’s her mother, who brings her out of that beautiful magical world where Anjali was waiting for her Mr. Right
You must have known that the story is about a lady named Miss Anjali, She is 30, well educated and an independent woman. She is at a stage where she does not need anyone, she is mature, earning good amount of money and enjoying her life, so she want to wait and hunt for her Mr. Right instead of being a victim where she was supposed to sit in front of others showcasing her best qualities to prove that she can be an Idol bride.
Anjali- Mother, why I have to do this drama every week, I hate this.
Mother- But you have to, you are 30, after 3-4 years you won’t be getting this also, so no other option.
Anjali- But I will find the Mr. Right on my own.
Mother- you tried to find the Mr. Right but what that guy gives you in return. Now we can’t wait, we want to see you having a happy married life.
Anjali- Mother, don’t bring Saurabh in this.
Mother- Why not, he is responsible for all this, he is the one who bluff you by entering into a fake relationship.
Anjali- Mother, he was serious about me, it’s just the circumstances was against us.
Mother- Anjali. I don’t want to enter into this argument again, bring on the tea, they all are waiting.
After that Anjali did what her mother asked her to do.
In the evening, the phone bell rings, Anjali’s father responded to the call.
After the call, the mother read from the disappointing eyes of the father that once again Anjali has been rejected. Even Anjali didn't want to marry any random guy but every week she dressed herself, tried to look as beautiful as she can just to bring smile on the face of her parents.
Anjali’s mother went to her room
Mother- It would have been the best thing happened to you if Saurabh had married you.
Anjali- What happened? They rejected me? What sorts of explanations they have given this time, the lady is not beautiful or she is overage or some new one?
Mother- No, No, this time we have rejected him, did you had a good look at that guy, he was not fair not handsome and there was some problem in his smile, it’s my condition that I need a son in law who has the best smile in this world.
Anjali- you are a big liar mother, why you even try when you know you are not good at telling lies.
Mother- But I still blame Saurabh for all this.
Anjali- Stop it mother, it’s perfect if he didn't realised my value. But mother I am scared.
Mother- Scared of what?
Anjali- you know while growing up like all girls I also trusted that story that one day a king will come to take me. And then one day I met Saurabh, it was an instant connection with him, at that moment he is the right guy for me. Slowly slowly we both fell in love. He understood me so well, with him I never had to compromise on anything, he actually made me feel that I am a princess; I so madly fall in love with him. Each and every day with him was awesome, the more I know him, the more I fell in love with him, weeks, months, years passed and I never realised how 7 years went by, I felt it was a blink of an eye and seven years passed, with him every day was a new day, I was so me with him. He makes me realised my value.
Mother- then why he left you? Why he married any other woman?
Anjali- he never wanted to, but his parents were against this marriage.
Mother- so what, you both were independent, you both should have gone for the marriage, his parents would have agreed.
Anjali- he never wanted to do this, I don’t know why but he never gathered that guts to face his parent to say that he loves me. I was 21 when first met him and 28 when he left me, I literally grown with him. It was too difficult for me to leave him; I supposed it was also difficult for him to do the same.
Mother- Anjali accept the fact, he ditched you. You were 28 when he left you, you took 2 years to bring yourself out of this trauma, now you are 30 and finding it difficult to find the right groom for you, day by day people reject you and look at him, happily married. He should have stand by you, no matter whatever the circumstances will be at that time. He ditched you.
Anjali- No mother, whatever he did with me, I loved him from the core of my heart, I still wish the best for him, and to be honest I don’t want to get marry now.
Mother- you are mad, it’s easy to say this thing at the moment, but once you are old you need someone.
Anjali- but mother, how do you know those who come to see me is actually the right one for me. I felt that feeling with Saurabh, what if I have to make sacrifices with my husband, what if he never understands me?
Mother- all the males are same, don’t you worry, and you will find the better one than Saurabh
Anjali- yes, but some people touched your heart, I am trying to forget Saurabh, I wish I will find someone who will bring me out of this mess, someone who should look at my eyes and say it was okay f you travelled the wrong path, now I am there and promise you that I will never ever leave you, even if we travel the wrong path, we both will be together. Mother can I make a request?
Mother- Sure Darling
Anjali- I don’t know who will hold my hand in future, but I want him to know my past, I want myself to get rid of this burden, I don’t want to hide anything, it took me two years to gather my energy, I am ready to make a new beginning but I want him to accept me on the basis of truth.
Mother- Okay, let’s find the best groom for you, now go and sleep, tomorrow you have an important meeting. And let me tell you one thing, you are the best, keep on shining and smiling.
Anjali- good night mother
(I believe that’s our culture, no one ask anything from males, it’s the woman who has to make all the sacrifices, people like Saurabh can enter into a relationship and can go out of the relationship by giving any excuse, but they actually shattered the dreams of the woman, so much so that she is afraid to trust any other male. This one is a personal story, I wrote this one because I have to. Every woman is beautiful, they need respect, don’t play with them, say the truth right from the beginning instead of saying later that you didn't knew this gonna happen. With years of togetherness, she gets dependent on you, she started to build that dreamy world with you, take the responsibility, don’t leave her in between. God bless you lady, I know you are a fighter, and the kind of confidence you have no guy can ever say no to you. Blink Blink.
